How Do I Make An Appointment?

Intake is the first step to accessing services at Christian Counselling Ottawa. At intake, we seek to meet your needs by assigning you to the therapist who will be your best possible match.

When you call intake, you will be asked a few brief questions to ensure that the therapist’s areas of expertise, availability, and location match your own needs and preferences as closely as possible.

Your intake worker will also set your fee per session prior to assigning the case to a therapist. We use a sliding scale to determine your fee, based on your gross household income and the number of people living on that income. In some cases, EAP coverage or subsidies are possible to arrange. Your intake worker will discuss these possibilities with you. It is very important that you fully discuss any coverage you intend to use with the intake worker, as not all therapists participate in the same subsidy programs, and it is unadvisable to switch therapists once you have been assigned.

"I live in the high holy places, but also with the low-spirited, the spirit-crushed. And what I do is put new spirit in them, get them up and on their way."
