Linda J. Colwell
Upon retirement from the Canadian Armed Forces, Linda decided the best way to continue to serve was to become a volunteer. Since becoming CCO’s volunteer Executive Director, she has implemented a number of initiatives aimed at ensuring the organization stays focused on its ministry and service and is attuned to finding the resources and efficiencies needed to ensure longer term sustainability. In addition to her work with CCO, she uses her knowledge of governance, her experience and her energy as she serves on a number of other charities and not-for-profits’ Boards of Directors. She earned a Bachelor of Science from Mount Allison University and a Masters of Business Administration from Western. Linda lives her commitment to Christ and over the years has applied her leadership and management skills to support the Christian Community in many ways.
Christina serves as Office Manager, caring for the intake, administrative, and financial processes. She received her Bachelor of Health Sciences from the University of Ottawa and has pursued further studies in counselling psychology. She has experience working in social services on various mental health and addictions teams, as well as managing offices for counselling and related services. Christina is happy to be part of CCO in its genuineness in caring for the Christian community. She hopes to create a comfortable and welcoming environment to all those who walk through our doors.
Karen is a new addition to the CCO team who will be taking over as Office Manager, caring for the intake, administrative, and financial processes. Karen received her Bachelor of Commerce degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland and her MBA from University of Ottawa. After retiring from a career in the finance industry several years ago, Karen is looking forward to working part-time in an environment that strengthens her Christian faith and makes a difference in the lives of people in her community.
